Boli Bolingoli’s Celtic nightmare may have a chance of coming to an end as interest in the player is building in England.

Bolingoli has scarcely featured for Celtic, and then returned early from a loan spell at Russian club FC Ufa when the country launched its invasion on Ukraine. Upon leaving Russian shores, the full-back did not report back to Scotland and instead trained alone in his native Belgium. Despite having a year left on his Celtic contract, Bolingoli has not been spotted in pre-season training ahead of this campaign either.

It would make sense for all parties if a move can be arranged, especially as the Hoops have just signed another highly rated left back in Alexandro Bernabei.

That transfer now appears possible as English Championship club Reading are keeping tabs on the players, if reports in The Reading Chronicle are to be believed. Although, the publication notes that another loan spell may be required to get the deal done.
