Tottenham Hotspur have been facing tough competition not only from opponents on the pitch but also from injuries to their players.

Fortunately for Spurs, recent developments emerging from the club have brought promising news.

The Lilywhites’ centre-forward Richarlison, who has been sidelined lately, has been seen working out in the gym.

The targetman shared pictures of himself on Instagram.

The Brazilian striker has been absent from Tottenham’s starting lineup for the last seven Premier League fixtures due to a knee injury.

Richarlison recently revealed that his knee has been causing discomfort, preventing him from performing at his best.

Nonetheless, he has made two brief substitute appearances for the Lilywhites since then, featuring for 5 minutes against Luton Town last month and for 8 minutes against West Ham earlier this month.

The 26-year-old’s return to the gym indicates his potential comeback, which could be crucial for Tottenham, especially with the North London derby looming in about 8 days.

Ange Postecoglou would have a significant challenge ahead of him to rebuild the confidence of the side after their crushing 4-0 defeat against Newcastle United last Saturday.

While Arsenal is not the only test for Spurs, their last remaining fixtures of the ongoing Premier League season are tough.

The Lilywhites will then face Chelsea, Liverpool, Burnley, and Man City consecutively, demanding them to be at the top of their game.

Given the difficulty, Richarlison’s return is imperative, as he was in incredible form before the injury, scoring 9 goals in his last 13 outings in the English top flight.
