Borussia Dortmund will be crowned champions of Germany next weekend if they beat Mainz at home on the final day of the season.

Bayern Munich have won the Bundesliga in each of the last 10 years.

But Bayern's 3-1 home defeat by RB Leipzig on Saturday opened the door for Dortmund to go top of the table.

Dortmund grabbed that opportunity with both hands on Sunday by winning 3-0 at Augsburg.

Augsburg were reduced to 10 men just before half-time when Felix Uduokhai was sent off for a last-man foul on Donyell Malen.

Dortmund made their numerical advantage count after the interval thanks to two goals from Sebastian Haller and a stoppage-time strike by Julian Brandt.

Sunday's win left Dortmund two points clear of Bayern at the top of the table.

Bayern, who have a superior goal difference, will play away at Koln on the final day.

The final round of fixtures will all take place on Saturday, May 27 at 3.30pm local time.
