Chelsea's four-game unbeaten run ended on Saturday when Brentford won at Stamford Bridge for the third season in a row.

The Blues went into the West London derby full of confidence following recent victories over Brighton, Fulham and Burnley, as well as a creditable 2-2 draw with Arsenal.

However, despite dominating possession with 69%, Mauricio Pochettino's side fell to a 2-0 defeat.

The opening goal of the game arrived in the 58th minute when Ethan Pinnock headed home following a deep cross from Bryan Mbeumo.

Brentford then wrapped up the win in added time with a rapid counter-attack then ended with Mbeumo rolling the ball into an empty net after Chelsea keeper Robert Sanchez had gone forward for a corner kick.

Saturday's win saw Brentford move ahead of Chelsea in the EPL table.

It also means that the Bees still have a perfect record in Premier League matches played at Stamford Bridge.
