Brentford defender Ben Mee says they were good value for victory at Southampton.

The Bees won 2-0 on Wednesday night.

Mee said, "We can be really pleased with the performance, solid second half, it was a bit scrappy in the first half. We got a goal and it was a good away performance.

"We haven't got too many wins away from home so it was nice to get a win and get a few wins away to match our home form.

"We had to dig in and it was great, we showed that we can do that. It's good to see. They [Southampton] are fighting for their lives and we dug in

"We keep going, moving up the table we're on a good run of form besides the defeat last week."
