Brentford defender Ethan Pinnock felt they suffered in the "small margins" after defeat at Wolves.

Goals from Diego Costa and Hwang Hee-Chan consigned the Bees to a third-straight defeat at Molineux on Saturday.

For their first goal, Christian has made a tackle and it's rebounded to their guy," Pinnock told the club's website.

For their second goal, I blocked the cross and it's gone right into the guy's calf. It wasn't our day.

We create some good chances during the first half but weren't able to put them away. We didn't have the rub of the green today."

Pinnock admitted that Brentford could have done more to trouble Jose Sa after the interval.

We could be a little bit more patient in our build-up sometimes," he continued.

We didn't create as much as we would've liked during the second half, but it was a game of small margins.

We knew it was going to be difficult, as they've had some really good results here in their last few home games.

"They've got good quality in their side, so despite their league position, they are a very capable team.

We handled their threat well throughout most of the game, but we need to brush up on bits and pieces, look at the tape and see what we can do better."
