AC Milan may well miss out on Romain Faivre as the Brest winger has confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain are in talks with his agent and he would be open to the move.

La Gazzetta dello Sport are among the sources that have reported this month that Milan are considering going back in for Faivre either this month or in the summer. The Frenchman remains a temptation for Milan, especially as Brest have opened to the idea of a sale for a figure of around €15m, as per the paper.

If Samu Castillejo were to leave, perhaps the scenario would change and Milan could invest in that role, as they would welcome a player with 19 appearances, 8 goals and 6 assists this season.

It seems as though Faivre is moving further and further away from Milan’s grasp at the moment though, because the player himself has once again given an excitable interview about his future and a potential move, this time to the microphones of Canal +.

“Playing for PSG? There have been contacts with my agents. It’s a dream, it’s my city, my family and friends are there,” he said (via PianetaMilan).
