James Milner #7 of Liverpool News Images

Brighton are said to be readying a move to sign Liverpool’s James Milner who is set to leave Liverpool at the end of the season.

Milner is not expected to renew his Liverpool contract before the end of June, which will likely mean a departure from Anfield where he has spent the last eight years of his career.

David Ornstein has now revealed that the Seagulls are set to move for the 38-year old, who isn’t showing any signs of slowing down.

Milner has continued to prove his reliability for Jurgen Klopp’s side, making over 35 appearances in every season he’s been a Red and Brighton could certainly do with a man of his experience.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side sit 8th in the league, five points off the European places with three games in hand on 5th-placed Spurs, so they could well be offering more continental football to Milner next season.
