It’s no secret that Chelsea are trying to sign a new midfielder during this transfer window, with the days now running out.

Moises Caicedo is one of the players they are looking at signing, and they have already had a £55m bid for him rejected by Brighton, as per The Guardian.

Could Frank Lampard return to Chelsea in a new role?

Brighton’s stance has been firm, and it looks like Chelsea will need at least £75m to get them to accept a deal for the midfielder this month, otherwise he will stay at the club until at least the summer.

However, there could be a boost for Chelsea as Brighton have today seen an offer rejected for a potential Caicedo replacement.

As in the same report from above, Brighton have had an offer for Amadou Haidara rejected by RB Leipzig.

Brighton’s interest in Haidara comes as they begin to look for potential replacements for Moisés Caicedo.

Let’s see what happens with this.
