Liverpool and Brighton's transfer business is set to intertwine again in this summer transfer window. Firstly, news broke this morning from Fabrizio Romano that a full agreement on a contract had been met from both Liverpool and Alexis Mac Allister, with the Reds set to trigger the buyout clause in the coming days.

Going the other way, Brighton are set to announce the acquisition of James Milner on a free from Liverpool 'very soon' according to Fabrizio Romano.

Since joining Liverpool back in 2015 from Manchester City, Milner has made a staggering 332 appearances for the Reds, scoring 26, assisting 46 and winning every trophy up for grabs.

With Brighton qualifying for the Europa League for the first time in their history this season, the signing of Milner will add much-needed big-game experience as the seagulls prepare and progress through the competition.
