Burnley captain Josh Brownhill drew positives from defeat at Liverpool.

The Clarets had the score at 1-1 at the break before the Reds eventually won 3-1.

Brownhill said: "Overall we were very good actually. We don't want to concede the goals we conceded but to get the chances we had, there's a lot of positives.

"Going two goals down is always hard but I'm proud of the boys. You don't create that many clear-cut chances but on another day they go in.

"It's been the story of our season. We've been in so many games where we could have got more than we have right now. It's been a bit frustrating but the fight is still there, the belief and the performances.

"We just have to stick at it and hopefully things will turn."
