Burnley winger Jacob Bruun Larsen admits he's seeking a place in Denmark's Euros squad.

Larsen says he chose Burnley on the advice of Denmark coach Kasper Hjulmand.

He told Bold: "I hope that Hjulmand has seen my matches and that I can make it to the EC. It's obviously a big goal for me. It will be enormously great to represent your country in a final round, which I have tried as a youth player.

"I believe in myself a lot, and it may be a bit foreign to say, but especially as an offensive footballer you have to. You can say it very easily: If I don't think I'm good enough, why should the national coach or all sorts of others believe that?

"I believe 100 percent that I can contribute something to the national team, and then we will have to see what happens. Right now, of course, I'm focused on my daily life here in Burnley, because there's nothing more I can do."
