Casemiro has been voted Manchester United’s Player of the Month for October 2022.

October saw the new signing really grow into life at Old Trafford and it has already been revealed that he has quickly adapted to his new surroundings in Manchester.

A series of top performances have endeared him to the Reds faithful and it has not too long for them to come up with a chant for their Brazilian midfielder.

Casemiro fought off competition this month from team-mates Diogo Dalot, Lisandro Martinez and Marcus Rashford — topping the poll with 34 per cent of the vote, as per ManUtd.com.

After chasing Frenkie de Jong for over 100 days in the summer, I don’t think Erik ten Hag could have hoped for any better from Casemiro, who already looks like one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.

He has added not only steel to our midfield, but his ability to pass into the final third from deep positions has been a huge bonus for the team. The Brazil international also leads by example after winning five Champions League titles during his time at Real Madrid.

Casemiro’s achievements means that all three of United’s Player of the Month awards this season have gone to summer signings: Martinez, Christian Eriksen and now Casemiro.

Congratulations to Casemiro!
