Celtic face Motherwell this afternoon as Ange Postecoglou’s men celebrate the Premiership title returning to Paradise. After a brief hiatus, Celtic are the Champions of Scotland, and the management and playing staff deserve our adulation. Festivities begin early doors and the players will be lapping up the  occasion as well as paying tribute to departing duo Nir Bitton and Tom Rogic.

Team News

Ange Postecoglou has a full complement of players to choose from as he looks to put on a show in the final game of the season. In attack, the manager will have the usual headache of who to start in the advanced front three roles. He selected Abada, Giakoumakis and Forrest but ended up with Maeda, Kyogo and Jota. It will be interesting to see who he selects from the off.

There is further significance today as both Rogic and Bitton will bow out of Paradise after a combined 34 trophies together. You would expect that Rogic would start the game given that this will be his final appearance in the Hoops. Bitton has been out with a slight injury but hopefully, he is on the bench to take to the pitch one final time.

Cameron Carter-Vickers and Jota could make their final appearances for Celtic today. The club have options to buy both players and you would think that both would be keen to remain at the club. Christopher Jullien is another player that may say his goodbyes tomorrow. The French defender is unhappy with his game time since returning from injury and may look elsewhere if he doesn’t get minutes.

The Scottish Champions are bolstered by the return of Josip Juranovic to the squad. The Croatian Internationalist had been unavailable since being forced off in the Scottish Cup semi-final. Tony Ralston has been a worthy deputy in his absence, earning the MOTM Accolade in the draw at Tannadice.

Kick Off Time

The game will kick off at 12:15 pm Celtic Park time.

Where to Watch

Sky Sports Football will show the game with coverage starting at 11:30 AM. Celtic TV subscribers outside of Britain & Ireland will be able to watch on the club’s streaming service. The game will be on The Pass for Paradise for the final time as the streaming is set to be closed down at the end of the season.
