Kyogo is definitely the best since Henrik, he just needs to make his name in Europe now…

Kyogo Furuhashi has been a revelation for us since he was signed by Ange Postecoglou two years ago – 57 goals in 88 games tells you just that, although it’s not just his goals it’s also his al round enthusiasm for the game. He plays with a smile on his face, he’s such a lovable player. He’s a superb talent and has proven to be a snip at just £4.5 million.

His latest derby goal at Ibrox was his 6th goal in that fixture this year. He’s also scored a brace in two League Cup finals one of which was also against our rivals.

Kyogo has certainly contributed as much as anyone to our success these past two years, it would certainly have been doubtful if he wasn’t around.

It’s widely believed among the Celtic support that Kyogo is the best striker to have pulled on the hoops since the king of kings Henrik Larsson himself. Personally I feel he is . Like Henrik he has that knack of getting goals in the big games.

Although unlike Henrik he’s still to do it on the European stage. Yes he scored 5 goals in 9 in his first season, but last season he failed to hit the target in 6 Champions League games. Henrik as we know was wonderful on the European stage. The all time top scorer in the UEFA Cup. He also scored in the Champions League. He had nothing left to prove.

So if Kyogo really wants to solidify his place as the best since Henrik he has to make his mark in the biggest club competition of all, starting in two weeks time. He has the talent to do so and I believe he will. We have a chance of competing in this years group and I can see Kyogo getting a few chances to score and make his mark. Let’s hope he can take them. He has the talent after all.

Just an Ordinary Bhoy
