Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund will have the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie next week. While the Parisians have already faced the German side twice this season in the group stage, knowing which player could be a headache for the Ligue 1 side doesn’t hurt.

Dortmund have had an impressive Champions League tournament, winning the Group of Death that included PSG, AC Milan, and Newcastle United. The Bundesliga team defeated PSV Eindhoven and Atletico Madrid in the knockout stage.

CBS Sports reporter Jonathan Johnson spoke with PSG Talk recently and noted which Dortmund player will be giving the Parisians headaches and must contain if they want to advance to the final.

“The one Dortmund player who I’ve always liked came to the fore a bit in the semifinal, especially the second leg against Atleti, is Julian Brandt,” Johnson said. “I think he is a very talented player, very gifted, technically, somebody who does potentially make the difference on the day.”

On Monday, Dortmund did receive bad news regarding their attack. The Bundesliga side will be missing a goal-scoring threat for both games, which makes Dortmund’s plan a little more challenging against the Ligue 1 side. According to L’EquipeSébastien Haller is likely to miss the double clash against PSG.
