Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has shed more light on the Andrey Santos situation.

The midfielder is set to play for the Brazilian national team in a pre-Olympics tournament in the coming weeks.

Pochettino believes the player needs a change of scenery after a poor loan at Nottingham Forest was cut short this month.

The club will then make a decision about whether to send him back out on loan or give him first team chances.

He stated to reporters: Andrey is now going to Brazil to join the national team and for one month will be outside of the dynamic of the club.

During this time we will decide whether it is good for him to go on loan or stay with us when he comes back from the national team."
