Chelsea are starting to ponder new goalkeepers to come in and replace Kepa Arrizabalaga this season.

The Spanish international has gone back to Spain this season to join Real Madrid on loan, after Chelsea signed Robert Sanchez from Brighton.

The club are now looking for a senior goalkeeper to come in alongside Sanchez to offer him backup/competition in that area.

We haven’t really heard much on potential names being mentioned yet and that is still very much the case.

But The Telegraph do have one name buried deep in their article confirming that Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Romeo Lavia from Southampton yesterday.

They report that with Kepa leaving for Real Madrid, Pochettino needs a No 2 goalkeeper and one possibility being considered is Djordje Petrovic, who has been on the club’s radar since playing for New England Revolution in MLS.

I don’t know much about Petrovic at all, apart from he’s about to turn 24 next month, and he’s 6ft 4in tall!
