Chelsea fans will be fearing the worst once again this morning as one of their new debutants seems to have gotten injured after kicking a ball for Chelsea for the first time.

The Blues beat Crystal Palace 2-1 last night in what was a very much needed three points for Mauricio Pochettino. But it seems that these days at this club, good news never comes without bad news.

Romeo Lavia started his first game for Chelsea after being out injured all season so far and since he arrived from Southampton in the summer. But he finally got on the pitch last night as a substitute, and it was a welcome sight for Blues fans.

But Pochettino confirmed after the game that he’s worried about Lavia because he finished the game with some issues.

You can see his comments on Lavia in the video below.

But as well as that, reliable insider Nathan Gissing has reported that Lavia has a thigh issue.
