The Euros are in full swing, but that doesn’t stop the transfer rumour machine rolling on, and despite heavy spending last summer, Chelsea back in the mix being linked with all sorts of players.

Football Insider don’t seem like the most reliable, but they’ve been on the money enough times for us to take them seriously when they come up with something plausible.

Today they reckon that Chelsea have a “concrete interest” in Jack Grealish, who is also wanted by Man City.

The arrival of Emi Buendia from Norwich for big money certainly indicates that Aston Villa are preparing to lose their star man, and Chelsea are apparently keen to at least make him an offer.

There’s another interesting wrinkle in their story too – the suggestion of a (presumably massive) release clause inserted in the midfielder’s contract when he renegotiated last September.

If that is the case, we’re sure we will know by the end of this summer.
