Mundo Deportivo have named Chelsea among the clubs chasing top Brazilian talent Vitor Roque.

The attacking talent has been tearing it up at the South American U20 Championships this month, alongside new Chelsea signing Andrey Santos.

MD report that Barcelona, PSG and West Ham are also pushing hard for the forward.

The 17 year old has had senior action with the Athletico Paranaense first team too, and has since his stock rise and rise since the Autumn.

Roque himself wants to go to Barcelona it’s claimed, but whether Xavi’s team can match the financial firepower of PSG and the Premier League teams remains to be seen. A price of €35-40m is mentioned, which is big for Barca, but could be paid in a flash by Todd Boehly’s big spending Blues.

Roque turns 18 in February, which is when the real chase starts to heat up. Expect next summer to be a battleground if he continues to develop.
