Napoli sensation Victor Osimhen appears to be on the move this summer and transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano provided the latest on the Nigerian goal scorer.

The Parisians are likely to have to find someone to fill Kylian Mbappé’s shoes if reports of his departure this summer are accurate. Many expect the 25-year-old to join Real Madrid, so there’s a massive hole in the production that will need to be filled.

Osimhen’s name has been floating around regarding what goal scorer the French club could pursue. The Serie A standout has caught the eye of Premier League teams too, with Chelsea among those vying to sign the 25-year-old.

Transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano reports (h/t Chelsea News) that Chelsea appreciates Osimhen, as do PSG, who are absolutely in the race. But at the moment, that’s all it is, and the Blues haven’t decided on a new striker yet.

In 30 appearances so far this season for Napoli, Osimhen has scored 17 goals while registering four assists. Recently, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that there’s been first contact between Chelsea and Napoli over Osimhen.

According to Di Marzio, the English club are attempting to offer between €80 million and €90 million, along with veteran striker Romelu Lukaku and a young player.
