One current Chelsea player has made a pretty big claim about his own team mate this week.

Cesc Fabregas was one of the best midfielders to ever play the game, so to get compared to him by a fellow pro is probably one of the best compliments a midfield player can receive.

But that is what defender Axel Disasi has said about his current team mate, Enzo Fernandez this week.

“Enzo Fernandez can reach Fabregas’s level,” Disasi told Capital Football.

“He is a player who has great quality, is still young and has the whole future ahead of him. So of course, he can.”

You can certainly see the resemblances between the two player and if Enzo does reach the levels that we believe he can, then there is no reason that he cannot make the same impact on Chelsea and have a similar successful career that Fabregas had during his playing days.

Enzo has been part of an inconsistent and up and down Chelsea team since he joined the club, but he’s still managed to stand out on occasions as a top quality talent, and he will only get better.
