This is a Chelsea predicted lineup for their clash with Brentford in the Premier League. After back-to-back cup ties the Blues get back on track and try to climb the table after losing their shot at European football in the Carabao Cup final last weekend.

Chelsea Predicted Lineup vs Brentford in Premier League Clash

How Chelsea Have Lined Up Recently

The FA Cup provided an opportunity to rotate so we have seen some new faces in the past week as both Djordje Petrović and Robert Sanchez have featured in goals. The defence has featured Trevoh Chalobah, Levi Colwill, Axel Disasi, Ben Chilwell, Malo Gusto, and Alfie Gilchrist.

Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo have been the defensive midfield pairing of choice even with the congested fixture list. Mykhailo Mudryk, Cole Palmer, Conor Gallagher, Noni Madueke, and Raheem Sterling have set up in the attacking spots with Nicolas Jackson leading as the only striker.

Chelsea Recent Form and Tactics

Mauricio Pochettino has remained true to his 4-2-3-1 setup which has resulted in just one defeat in their past five outings. They’ve won three matches and drawn away at Manchester City in that time, which some may consider to be a win of sorts.

While at times the team has lacked a clinical touch, such as the final against Liverpool, they have netted three times in a game on three seperate occasions in their past five fixtures. This is a team that has trouble keeping goals out, but their firepower gets them over the line when things click.

Chelsea Injuries to Consider

The latest injury report from the club has lightened the numbers with Thiago Silva and Marc Cucurella no longer listed. Christopher Nkunku, Benoit Badiashile, Carney Chukwuemeka, Wesley Fofana, Reece James, Romeo Lavia, and Lesley Ugochukwu remain sidelined.

Chelsea Predicted Lineup

One change that could happen is Disasi getting a rest after playing a lot of minutes in recent weeks. The decision over which goalkeeper takes over the first-choice role will also be one to monitor

GK – Djordje Petrović

LB – Ben Chilwell

CB – Levi Colwill

CB – Trevoh Chalobah

RB – Malo Gusto

DM – Enzo Fernadez

DM – Conor Gallagher

AM – Raheem Sterling

AM – Mykhailo Mudryk

AM – Cole Palmer

ST – Nicolas Jackson
