This is a Chelsea predicted lineup for their clash with Manchester United in the Premier League. The Blues are coming off a disappointing 2-2 draw with Burnley and face some tough old rivals on their track back to success.

Chelsea Predicted Lineup vs Manchester United

How Chelsea Have Lined Up Recently

Djordje Petrović has been a mainstay in goals with Robert Sanchez operating mainly as a cup keeper in the second half of the campaign. The back four has been limited due to injuries with Marc Cucurella, Axel Disasi, Malo Gusto, Trevoh Chalobah, and Benoit Badiashile suiting up as starters.

Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo has been the go-to defensive midfield pairing with the only change coming against Leicester when Conor Gallagher replaced the suspended Argentina midfielder. Cole Palmer, Mykhailo Mudryk, Raheem Sterling, Gallagher, and Nicolas Jackson have suited up as the attacking four.

Chelsea Recent Form and Tactics

Mauricio Pochettino has remained loyal to his 4-2-3-1 formation despite some of the recent blips. They are undefeated in their last five matches which is impressive on paper, but two of those wins came against Championship opposition with the squad limping to draws against relegation candidates Brentford and Burnley.

While they are undefeated in their last five, the squad also has the unenviable record of conceding two goals in each of those fixtures. Pochettino’s side have only kept two clean sheets since the turn of the calendar year. Their firepower has saved them from defeat as they’ve managed to net 14 times in their latest run, you have to wonder when or if that will dry up.

Chelsea Injuries to Consider

It isn’t Chelsea without some injuries. The latest report does welcome back four names as Sanchez, Chalobah, Carney Chukwuemeka, and Gusto are all fit. However, Reece James, Romeo Lavia, Lesley Ugochukwu, Ben Chilwell, Levi Colwill, and Christopher Nkunku remain sidelined.
