Paris Saint-Germain will look to bolster its defense this summer, and many targets are being linked to the French giants. In recent transfer windows, English players have been open to leaving the Premier League, and the Parisians hope that one player will follow in the footsteps of Harry Kane.

In the January transfer window, the capital club began adding youth to their center-back position with the arrival of Lucas Beraldo. The Brazilian has flashed the potential he possesses despite having some learning moments. Nonetheless, this appears to be the file that PSG want to pursue for another center-back.

Journalist Ben Jacobs recently wrote in his column for Caught Offside that PSG have a bold target in mind to help improve the defense: Chelsea standout Levi Colwill. The Ligue 1 side will have money to spend, so they might not be hesitant to bring a player with a high upside.

“Levi Colwill is another ambitious target despite the fact Chelsea aren’t looking to sell him,” Jacobs wrote. “Even with outgoings planned at Stamford Bridge, Colwill is not one of the players Chelsea intend to lose. PSG will simply monitor the situation with a view to the long-term future in case anything changes.”

Colwill, who can play center-back and left-back, is under contract until 2029. As a result, it will take a significant sum to lure the player away from Stamford Bridge with Transfermarkt putting his transfer value at €50 million, but it might take a larger amount for the player.
