Club Brugge legend Gert Verheyen has a word of caution for Inter Milan and Manchester City over their interest in Tajon Buchanan.

The winger has been linked with both giants.

But Verheyen told Tuttosport: "Buchanan is a talent, with some problems (laughs) and a strange character, at least on the playing field.

"Here he showed a high level for one or two matches, then he failed the following match. And so on: some good and some bad. He must find more continuity.

"(Ivan) Perisic was stronger, more complete, obviously we can't know how much Buchanan can improve in the future, but fans shouldn't expect a player like Perisic. Probably in the 3-5-2 he could cover the best position for him, but if we look at the statistics they are not particularly brilliant."
