Galatasaray can permanently sign Tanguy Ndombele from Tottenham Hotspur for just €5 million.

While Tottenham are looking at ways to bolster their squad ahead of next season, the North London club are also looking to offload players who are no longer a part of their plans moving ahead. Tanguy Ndombele is one of the players with no future at Spurs and they have presented Galatasaray with a ‘surprise offer’ to sign the 27-year-old as per a report by Takvim.

Tottenham signed Ndombele back in 2019 from Olympique Lyon in what was a big-money move. The French midfielder had huge potential and he was expected to be the next big thing. Unfortunately, the move didn’t work out for the former Lyon star.

He struggled to get going at the club and has been subject to multiple loan moves lately. The French international was on loan at Napoli last season. While he did return to his parent club ahead of the start of the 2023/24 season, there was no place for him in Ange Postecoglou’s squad, as a result, he ended up joining Galatasaray on a season-long loan.

Galatasaray can sign Ndombele for just €5 million

The Turkish outfit have an option to buy worth €15 million. But, they have no intention of triggering it because Ndombele has failed to hit the ground running and he has fallen well short of expectations.

He has gained excess weight which has attracted a lot of criticism and he has been on the bench in the majority of games this season. He has had just 656 minutes of footballing action throughout the season.

Spurs are aware of the fact that Galatasaray won’t trigger the buy option. As a result, they have offered them the opportunity to sign the French international for just €5 million. While the Turkish outfit haven’t responded yet, the report suggests the Galatasaray are not really interested in the proposal.
