Former Liverpool star turned pundit, Luis Garcia has urged Harry Kane to move to Bayern Munich following Oliver Kahn’s public admiration for the striker,

Bayern Munich’s CEO Kahn recently admitted that Harry Kane would be his ‘dream’ signing which started various rumours linking the Spurs striker to Bayern Munich. When asked about Kane, he told Bild (via Evening Standard):

“He is under contract at Tottenham. Sure, he is an absolute top striker, but that’s all a dream of the future. So let’s see what happens.”

With just having lost their star striker Lewandowski to Barcelona, the Bundesliga club are now in hunt to fill the void. Despite signing Sadio Mane, they will still find the need to replace the goal scoring machine with another goal scoring machine. And Luis Garcia believes that man is Harry Kane and a summer move ‘must be on table’ that will leave Antonio Conte shocked.

He told ESPN:

“I think it must be on the table. Harry Kane is mentioning last year and the year before that he might be looking for a different option, he wants to win trophies and challenge for every single competition.

“And he has been struggling. He always delivers, but I think the team lets him down, so it could be one of the options (joining Bayern).

“The moment Bayern has a big place up front, where a number nine could join, I think it’s a fantastic option for Harry Kane.

“Not just waiting for six months or a year, it could be the right moment to take the chance (now). I am not sure Conte is going to be ready to allow him to go now they are building a strong team.

“I don’t think it’s going to be enough for him (challenging). I think he wants to win trophies. He has been one of the best English strikers for many, many years. He wants silverware, it’s probably the moment that right now to make the move.”

After Kahn’s statement, the reports linking him with a move to Bayern won’t stop considering he hasn’t signed a new contract yet and has only 2 years left. If Kane doesn’t extend a contract this year and Conte fails to deliver silverware in the coming season, it is very likely that Kane will move on to a club like Bayern.
