After terminating his contract with Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo is now a free agent, meaning he will attract interest from across the globe.

News has emerged in the past couple of days that the Portuguese icon has agreed a deal to join Saudi Arabia side Al Nassr in a deal worth £164milion but other outlets insist that despite the news, nothing has been confirmed.

In fact if reports are to be believed, Ronaldo is open to a move to United’s rivals Chelsea, who are still in need of a goalscorer.

These aren’t the first Ronaldo to Chelsea links we’ve heard, with the forward linked with the Blues when Thomas Tuchel was still in charge but the German was firmly against bringing the player to Stamford Bridge.

Despite the recent news, Ronaldo’s antics don’t seem to have affected the team too much, with Portugal preparing for their Round of 16 match against Switzerland tomorrow evening.
