Crystal Palace defender Rob Holding has suffered a fresh injury setback.

Holding has been hit by a hamstring injury this week. He had only just returned after having ankle surgery.

Unfortunately, Rob Holding is injured again," Palace manager Oliver Glasner said on Tuesday.

Tough, because he was just back from an injury. We don't know the degree, but it's something with his hamstring. We don't know how long it takes [to heal], but he will miss definitely tomorrow's game, and I would think the game on Saturday against Fulham.

[It's sad] for all of us, and especially for him. He worked so hard and was so happy and smiling training in the team.

It was his first time in the squad [against West Ham], but sometimes it happens, especially if your body is not used to team training. It happened. We have to accept it and learn from it so it doesn't happen again.

That's bad news, but all the other players are fit."
