Daniel Levy was always going to play hardball with Harry Kane.

Whoever advised the striker to push for a move before the Euros began missed a trick because Tottenham are not being forced into a sale, with Levy’s stance being firm on not allowing Kane leave for any Champions League cup.

That’s according to The Telegraph, who claim Levy is blocking Kane’s move to Man City, but Manchester United are never too far away from the links either, as per Eurosport.

However, it looks like United are prioritising another England international in the shape of Jadon Sancho, who will truly spice up Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s attack. For too long now we’ve been a predictable outfit in attack — trying to force everything down the left — but with Sancho we’ll be able to jazz things up a little.

I wouldn’t be too happy if City signed Kane, so long may this continue from Tottenham and Levy.

The player should have told the club or its chairman in private that he wanted a move.

And with all the uncertainty, Kane is having a poor European Championships with no goals in England’s first two games. Roy Keane has urged the striker to improve (via Manchester Evening News).
