David De Gea reportedly uncertain about his future with Manchester United

David De Gea's future with Manchester United still is murky, according to ESPN's Rob Dawson

De Gea shared United's goal with Dean Henderson last season. Even though he started the Europa League final to Villareal, United picked him for just two of the final 12 Premier League games.

DeGea still has two years and an option left on his contract. According to ESPN, he remains "keen" on continuing to play regularly at the highest level.

The 30-year-old currently plans to return next season to fight for his place, ESPN adds. He only intends to move on from United if manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer picks Henderson as his No. 1 goalkeeper.

De Gea has been with Manchester United since the 2011-12 campaign. In 339 appearances, he has 122 clean sheets, 186 wins and 70 losses. He also won the Golden Glove in 2017-18 with 24 wins and seven losses.

Before joining United, De Gea spent time with La Liga's Atletico Madrid.
