The decisive Champions League semi-final second leg between Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund will be overseen by an all-Italian team of officials, led by popular referee Daniele Orsato.

Orsato will be accompanied by assistants Ciro Carbone and Alessandro Giallatini, as well as fourth official Davide Massa. The VAR booth will be operated by Massimiliano Irrati and his assistant Paolo Valeri.

Aside from Massa, who will replace Maurizio Mariani as fourth official, it is the same team that refereed the thrilling Champions League quarter-final second leg between Manchester City and eventual winners on penalties, Real Madrid, at the Etihad Stadium.

PSG in particular will be familiar with Orsato, as he refereed their Champions League final loss against Bayern Munich back in 2020.

He is one of the most experienced officials in Italy, with close to 300 outings in Serie A, and he also has the most Champions League appearances of any Italian referee.

In terms of the action on Tuesday, Dortmund possess a 1-0 advantage heading into the second leg, but the Parisians will have the home advantage this time around in a tie that is still far from over.
