Divock Origi has only been back in the Premier League for a few months but AC Milan are in talks over a move that would see him head to America, a report claims.
According to what is being reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Origi could say goodbye to Nottingham Forest because he has attracted the attention of teams in the MLS, more specifically over on the west coast.
The Rossoneri are negotiating with Los Angeles FC to find an agreement over the Belgian striker, which means he could leave Nottingham Forest as early as the winter transfer window.
The discussions are continuing and while a total agreement between the two clubs has not yet arrived, it can be reached on the basis of a loan with obligation to buy, with the figure set at around €5m.
Now the dialogue is also continuing between the player and the American club to try and strike a deal over how his contract would look. The goal is to reach an agreement soon.
Last season Origi made 36 appearances for Milan, registering two goals and one assist, but with Forest he has nine Premier League appearances without a goal to his name and physical problems have hampered him.
A few months ago, a report from The Athletic outlined that Milan’s data team actually warned the directors against signing him from Liverpool, but Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara went ahead with it anyway.
