Southampton have completed the signing of Everton defender Mason Holgate.
Holgate moves to the Championship club on a season-long loan.
"I did have other opportunities, but I just think the way the manager comes across and the style of football that he plays is suited to me to a tee," Holgate said.
"The passion that he spoke with, I just felt like I was wanted, which has been very important for me, because there's been points over the last few years where I've not really felt like that."
