Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have officially completed a loan deal for Villarreal’s Arnaut Danjuma,.

This means that Danjuma will be playing for Tottenham on a loan basis, without any option for the club to make the move permanent.

The loan signing of Danjuma is a significant boost for the club, as they aim to challenge for a top four finish in the Premier League and also remain in contention in both the Champions League and the FA Cup.

The 25-year-old was initially set to join Everton. He had even undergone a medical examination before Tottenham Hotspur intercepted the deal and convinced the player to change his plans.

This is an indication of the player’s quality and potential, as he was being sought after by two top clubs in the English Premier League.

Danjuma joined Villarreal from Bournemouth Football Club for €20 million in August 2021 and had an impressive first season in Spain.

He scored 10 goals in La Liga and helped the club reach the semi-finals of the Champions League, scoring 6 times.

His performances caught the attention of several top clubs, and it’s not surprising that Tottenham Hotspur managed to secure his services on loan.
