EURO 2020 match between Denmark-Finland suspended after Christian Eriksen collapses

Saturday's European Championship game between Denmark and Finland has been suspended due to a medical emergency.

Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen collapsed just before halftime and was unresponsive. The game was paused, and Denmark players surrounded Eriksen as he received treatment on the field.

Players from both Denmark and Finland were in tears as the stadium in Copenhagen fell silent for the first time during the tournament.

It's unclear when the remainder of the match will be played.

Eriksen has spent the last two seasons with Serie A's Inter Milan. He has four goals and two assists in 43 games. He has also spent time with Ajax and Tottenham Hotspur.
