Premier League side Everton are preparing to make an offer for Lazio forward Joaquin Correa.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Tempo (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Toffees are currently negotiating the 26-year-old Argentinian forward’s price with his agent Alessandro Lucci, who is also ready to listen to offers from both Tottenham and Leicester City.

Lazio are asking for around €35-40 million for Correa and his sale would completely solve the club’s issues with the liquidity ratio, allowing them to finally make new signings this summer.

The 26-year-old Correa asked for a transfer at the end of last season and reiterated that desire recently, keen for a change of scenery.

The next few weeks will be decisive for Correa’s future and it’s no longer impossible to imagine him being sold by Lazio this summer.

Correa, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2024, scored eight goals and provided four assists in 28 Serie A appearances last season.
