Former Inter Milan wingback Robin Gosens tells a shocking backstory where a fan asks him for an autograph after having wished death upon him and his family.
This disturbing story sheds light on the importance of educating young people on various levels and helping them acquire important values, such as respect and kindness.
This also applies to young footballers who would certainly benefit from education, even if they must spend several hours a day on the green pitch, but can still find sufficient time for their studies, especially when they seek assistance from pay for an essay which can make life easier for them both on the pitch and in the schoolroom.
Sadly for Gosens, he and his family received threats from some angry Union Berlin fans earlier in the season.
The Germany international ended 18 months at Inter to join the Bundesliga club in the summer.
However, the club’s campaign began on a terrible note, both domestically and in the Champions League.
This prompted abuse from some supporters, who wished death upon the 29-year-old through online messages.
But to his shock, Gosens realized that one of the fans who abused him online later stopped him to ask for an autograph.
“After the 1-0 victory over Wolfsburg, I stopped to greet some of our fans. They were asking for photos and autographs,” explains the former Nerazzurri star via FcInterNews.
“One of them had a familiar face, but initially I wasn’t able to recognize him.
“I got into the car and was preparing to drive back home, then I suddenly realized it. This was the same guy who had wished death upon me after the match against Mainz.
“According to him, I had the wrong facial expression during a fan protest. He wrote to me saying that my family and I deserved death and that there was no need for people like me on this earth.
“Back then, I had seen his profile picture. This is how I was able to identify him.”
This season, Gosens has made 26 appearances across all competitions, scoring six goals in the process.

The wingback rose to fame during his time at Atalanta, prompting a transfer to Inter in January 2022.
However, the German couldn’t carve himself a regular spot in Simone Inzaghi’s’ lineup. Last season, he played second-fiddle to Federico Dimarco.
Therefore, he decided to embark on a new adventure this summer, making his return to Germany.
Inter replaced him by signing Carlos Augusto from Monza.
