Inter Milan wingback Juan Cuadrado is eager to make his return to action, even though his future appears to lie away from the club.

The 35-year-old completed a controversial switch to the Nerazzurri on a free transfer following eight years at Juventus.

The Colombian initially struggled to gain the support of the club’s faithful who opposed the move from the get-go.

While he eventually managed to win them over, his campaign has been hampered by an Achilles tendon injury.

After recurring stops, he opted for surgical intervention in December. He has spent the last few months on the sidelines while recovering.

But luckily for Cuadrado, his return appears imminent. The winger will be looking to offer some contribution in the final rounds of the season before celebrating another Scudetto triumph.

However, FcInterNews insists that Inter will part ways with the player at the end of the season.

The veteran’s contract will expire in June, and he’s unlikely to earn a renewal.

Moreover, the Nerazzurri have already signed Tajon Buchanan in January, rendering Cuadrado surplus to requirements.

As the source explains, the former Fiorentina and Chelsea man could resume his playing career in Turkiye. He reportedly has two offers from the Turkish Super Lig.

Inter Milan Winger Juan Cuadrado Could Make A Summer Move To Turkiye

The report notes that Cuadrado shares the same agent with former Inter striker Edin Dzeko who joined Fenerbahce last summer.

Therefore, Alessandro Lucci could replicate the move by finding another one of his clients new accommodation in Turkiye.

This could prove to be the final chapter in Cuadrado’s storied career.

But in the meantime, the winger will be looking to end his Inter stint on a high note.
