Former Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita is injured again - weeks after promising he was over his injury issues.

The central midfielder was plagued by similar issues when he was at Liverpool the past few years.

Since signing for Werder Bremen, Keita professed that his injury problems were in the past.

Bremen tweeted through their official account on Monday: Naby Keta suffered an adductor muscle injury whilst warming up for the game against VfB Oldenburg and will be out of action for several weeks.

Wishing you a speedy recovery, Naby."

Keita will be hoping he can get back to full fitness and have a full season of games for the first time in a long time.
