Varane will be forced to quarantine when he arrives in the UK.

However, one source stressed there are still hopes that the defender will undergo a medical on Wednesday at the earliest.

Personal terms were never going to an issue when after 10-years at Real Madrid, Varane only wanted to join United in the Premier League.
