Fiorentina chief Joe Barone has dismissed claims of a swap involving Jonathan Ikone for Roma striker Andrea Belotti.

The deal was raised this week before Barone's comments.

Jonathan Ikon is not on the market and he won't join Roma. He stays at Fiorentina," Barone said on the club's YouTube channel.

I ask the fans to support the team. Jonathan took responsibility to take a penalty kick when we were losing 1-0. He missed it and these things have consequences, but the group loves and supports him.

"The transfer market is made of details, and there will be new signings over the next few days."
