According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus‘ struggles to create goal-scoring opportunities is the first reason club directors are considering replacing Massimiliano Allegri in the summer.

The Bianconeri were held to a 0-0 draw by city rivals Torino in the Derby della Mole on Saturday, which means Max Allegri’s men remain third in the Serie A table with 63 points and just two victories in the last 11 Serie A games.

Allegri’s contract at the Allianz Stadium runs out in June 2025, but his future in Turin is increasingly uncertain.

Sunday’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, on page two, analysed the Bianconeri’s performance at the Stadio Grande Torino, confirming that the Italian tactician will not necessarily remain in charge of Juventus beyond 2024.

‘Juventus don’t create, therefore, they don’t score,’ wrote journalist Luigi Garlando.

‘This is the first reason why Juventus are blamed and what has pushed the club to consider a football ‘educator’ on the bench.’

During a pre-match press conference on Friday, Allegri didn’t guarantee he’d remain in charge in 2024-25, while director Cristiano Giuntoli said he’d sit down to discuss the matter with the coach at the end of the season.

Gazzetta drops a second hint on Allegri’s future on page eight, saying that Federico Cherubini, a director who is ‘close’ to the Italian tactician, is expected to leave the Allianz Stadium in the summer, while Napoli will appoint Giovanni Manna.
