Christian Pulisic was Milan‘s MOTM in a 3-0 win over Lecce on Saturday and La Gazzetta dello Sport called the American a ‘true champion’ who has impressed in many different roles this season.

Pulisic was Milan’s best player against Lecce at San Siro on Saturday, according to Italian sports papers.

He started as an attacking midfielder for the first time this season and, as Gazzetta noted, the USMNT captain has now covered any role behind a centre forward this term: right and left winger and attacking midfielder.

The pink paper rated Pulisic 7.5/10 and said the ex-Chelsea man proved to be a champion who “shines” regardless of his role.

Il Corriere dello Sport also rated Pulisic 7.5, highlighting that the 25-year-old has reached double figures for goals in league matches for the first time in his career.

Pulisic has netted 10 times in 29 Serie A matches, making it 13 in 41 appearances across all competitions.
