Former Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski believes that Harry Kane is the perfect striker for Bayern Munich.

According to Podolski, the England star will indeed join his former club, Bayern Munich, before the transfer window closes.

He referred to the statements made by Uli Hoeness, suggesting that there is substance behind them, as Hoeness is known for being a man of clear words.

When asked whether Bayern will complete the deal, he told Sky in Germany (via Florian Plettenberg):

“I think so. When Uli Hoeness makes a statement like that, there’s something behind it. He is a man of clear words.”

“For Bayern, Harry Kane is the only striker who can really help them.

“He’s at the right age, the classic No9 and he scores the goals – a player who fits perfectly to Bayern.”

They Bayern honorary president made controversial statements in an interview with Kicker, claiming that Kane has already made the decision to join Bayern.

Hoeness also criticised Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy for employing time-wasting tactics.

The German club is in desperate need of a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who was sold to Barcelona last summer.

Bayern Munich have already had two bids rejected for Kane, worth £60 million and £70 million.

However, they are expected to make a third bid soon, hoping that the player will push for a move to facilitate the transfer.

As per the latest from French outlet L’Equipe, Levy has made a decision regarding Kane’s future.

According to the report, the Tottenham chairman has made it clear for the player: either sign a new contract or be sold this summer.

The price tag that Tottenham are reportedly seeking for Kane is close to €116 million.

As the transfer saga unfolds, fans eagerly await further developments to see if Harry Kane will indeed make a move to Bayern Munich, as predicted by Lukas Podolski.
