AC Milan are one of the European clubs interested in Olympique Lyonnais defender Kelyan Yahia, according to a report.

According to Footmercato, the 17-year-old Franco-Tunisian is under an expiring contract with Lyon which means that they face a real battle to keep him, especially given they are fighting to survive in Ligue 1.

Endowed with great size and good technical quality, Yahia is the subject of strong desire in Europe. As per the French source, Juventus, Milan, VfB Stuttgart and Villarreal are attracted by the idea of signing the teenager.

Yahia arrived in Lyon’s academy and instantly became a starter in the U17 side before joining the U19 team for this season where he is today an indisputable starter, with 12 appearances and one goal to his name.

After Pierre Kalulu made the move from Lyon’s youth sector to the Rossoneri, another centre-back could make a near-identical switch next summer, if Milan beat the competition.
