One former Chelsea midfielder has been speaking to the media this week and some of his responses have really created some gold content!

John Obi Mikel has always been such a character and he became a bit of a cult hero at Chelsea as a result. The fans loved him and really, he was quite an under rated player come the end.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea owners want UCL, is Pochettino safe? Toney is on Chelsea’s list and keen on the move, Lavia’s return, Palmer a leader, ‘Most likely’ plan for Stamford Bridge revealed, and much more….

Mikel didn’t actually stop playing pro too long ago, but he has now taken up Podcasting. He has been promoting his show on talkSPORT today, and he was also speaking about some very interesting situations when he was at Chelsea as a player.

When Rafa Benitez joined Chelsea as manager, fans hated it, and it seems like even some of the players did as well.

It was a pretty big celebration when the former Liverpool manager got sacked at Chelsea, and according to Mikel, it was the captain John Terry who made that happen!
