AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is hoping to have Ante Rebic available for Saturday’s game against Bologna, a report claims.

The Rossoneri are looking to turn a page after their defeat in the Champions League against Porto and they want to do so by avenging the loss with a win against Bologna. Calciomercato.com writes that Rebic could be back for the game after he missed the game at the Estadio do Dragao due to injury.

He sustained an ankle problem in the win over Hellas Verona, but the hope is to have him available to at least include him in the squad list and therefore be on the bench for the game this weekend. Today he did individual work in view of the match against the Rossoblù, and tomorrow’s session will be decisive in seeing whether he will be ready.

Milan do not want to risk Rebic though because on Tuesday there is a game against Torino, one of his favourite victims, so Rebic will be closely monitored and will be available only if at 100%.
